He quickly regains his cool and bows his head, as if looking at something on the ground, he kneels to pick something up and you come closer to see what it is. Then, using your own trick, his hands hit the ground and his leg swings out and causes you to hit the dirt.

He smiles and helps you up. "Two can play at that game." steps back and resumes gaurd, waiting for you to come to him.

You move in, looking for an opening, spotting one you lunge in. Lightning fast his staff comes down, connecting with the fingers clasping your sword, it causes a throbing pain but they are still usable, it is obvious he doesn't want the fight to get ugly.
