yes, we abandoned this page for several years.

Perhaps a half decade.
It's very typical for us to "walk away".

We've finally removed the old annoying Main background since its inception.

In any case,
This page was supposed to serve a multi-purpose.
From reviewing products by evaluating their quality.

(Household products, groceries, stores, restaurants, Tools, drills, computers, ANYTHING).

Another purpose of this forum was to review software and DOWNLOADABLE links.

Describing whether or not they're safe.

A main purpose of this page was to provide links to useful Utilities.

(later on, we developed an entire separate miscellaneous page which bears this 'utilities' namesake ).

So, although we could review anything imaginable; it mostly aimed to review Useful Software Products.
Which explains why many voylinks simply uses that title.

But, the original goal was to mirror a CONSUMERS BUYING GUIDE.

If you're following politics on the internet;
SCREENSHOT recorders are vital.
Instead of linking to News articles which eventually vanish;
a snapshot can be permanently saved.
and you needn't worry about dead links.

Lightshot screenshot tool is probably the most popular item.
Their official website is https://app.prntscr.com/en/index.html

IT can be downloaded onto your computer and/or
The Lightshot add-on is available for Mozilla Firefox.

It's easy to use.
A 'ready-to-click' icon appears within the browser.
OR, simply press PRT SCR button on your keyboard.

Note: many computers nowadays don't have the Prt Scr button.
and, of course; it's the old PRINT SCREEN KEY.

Lightshot is user-friendly. and needs NO instructions.
You can stretch the image. then save it.

Screen Recorder Studio is another fine screen capturing tool.

It's very similar to Lightshot.
You can either take a screenshot, or video record.

The only difference is, Screen-recorder Studio is slightly less user friendly.
When saving images, you cannot automatically change your save-number.

Another choice is Capture Plus.
In terms of image quality, this ranks #1 (by far).
I would recommend placing Capture-plus on your Taskbar.
(since it's otherwise difficult to find.).

Simply click the icon when a screen-capture is desired.
It's a little slower to operate than lightshot.
But, the picture quality is BEST.

and I choose this tool when capturing important material.
