Star Struck Miniatures & American Shetlands, Home of The Phantom, 2000 National Grand Champion Halter Stallion, will offer a few select horses for sale in preparations for upcoming foals and show season. All horses are healthy, have correct bites and are sound. Please take a look at these wonderful horses and your inquiries are most welcome. Pictures are available upon request. AMHA Horses:
(1) Star Struck's Beau's Eclipse - 28" AMHA registered 2-year-old stallion. Chestnut & white pinto with blaze face and four white stockings. He is ready to make someone a wonderful breeding stallion and I am only selling him because I don't have enough mares for him. His sire, Bond Madam's Beau II, tied for National Champion in halter. We have only had a very few Beau babies and they are spectacular. Nothing has sold under $5000 as a weanling or yearling. This is your opportunity to get an incredibly refined breeding stallion by one of the up and coming sires of the future at an incredible price! Priced at $2200
(2) Modern's Mister Mister - 30" AMHA registered two-year-old stallion. Chestnut & White Overo with bald face. I was going to keep this colt as well, but just don't have enough mares to breed to him. He is very refined with very dishy face. Very upheaded. He should produce some beautiful overo babies! Priced at $2500
(3) Hartin's After Dark's Special Edition - 33" AMHA/AMHR registered six-year-old gelding. Bay. His sire, Martin's Boozer's After Dark, sold last year for $60,000+! He is no doubt one of the top show geldings in the country. He has quite a following! Many times Grand Champion and Supreme Halter Horse or Best In Show. He is the perfect image of refinement and balance. This horse will make a beautiful driving horse as well. He has a ton of movement! It will be very hard to part with him, but we have won so much and I feel that he will be the perfect horse to take an Amateur or Youth straight to the National Level. I would be very happy to stay on as his trainer or help his new owner keep him in the winner's circle. Priced at $5500.
(4) Star Struck's Snippet's Genuine Risk - 28" AMHA/AMHR registered two-year-old mare. Sorrel pinto. She is by the famed Bond Snippet and is one of the smallest daughters he has ever produced. Incredibly refined. She does not sacrifice balance for her tiny size. This filly has the potential to be a National Champion show mare! 100% Bond breeding. Risky has a ton of attitude and movement. She is probably one of the most photographed horse on the place..ha ha! This filly will no doubt go all the way, either in the show ring, or producing champion show babies. This is your opportunity to own one of the best Snippet daughters we have ever raised! Priced at $13,000.
AMHR Horses:
(1) RA's Midnight Squaw - 35" AMHR Registered six-year-old mare. True jet black. I said I would never breed any mares over 34" to my stallion, Phantom, but when I saw this mare, I had to have her. She has the ability to be a National Champion halter mare. She had a black & white filly before I got her and is now ultrasounded in foal to The Phantom for a summer foal. This foal will no doubt be an eye-catcher! This baby will also be National Futurity Nominated. The Phantom is several time National Champion and has been tested homozygous. I have never offered a mare in foal to him for sale. This mare is just beautiful and she is a steal at that! Priced at $2500
(2) Star Struck's Phantom's Saratoga - 30.50" AMHR registered yearling filly. Black & white pinto with blaze face and four white stocking legs. This filly is by The Phantom, and is the only foal of his to be offered for sale. I have prior commitments to show another yearling and cannot show her. She is National Futurity Nominated. She has quite a bit of movement and should stay under 34" and be able to be hardshipped. I can really see this filly becoming an awesome driving mare. No doubt she should produce many beautiful babies! Priced at $1500
(3) Champagne Cocktail - 33.50" AMHR registered fourteen-year-old mare. Sorrel with faint streak on nose. I have only had this mare a few weeks and bought her so I would have a really nice mare in foal to Phantom to offer for sale. She is beautiful. Gorgeous face with huge, expressive eyes! She has had several foals before I got her. I know her and Phantom will produce a National Champion caliber foal. The baby will be futurity nominated. She will start being bred on her next heat cycle. I would be willing to sell her open for $1000 or she will be priced at $1800 in foal to The Phantom. You will never get the opportunity to own a mare in foal to Phantom this cheap again!
(4) AF Proud Prince - 35.50" AMHR registered three-year-old stallion. Strawberry roan with blaze face and 3 white stockings. This colt is gorgeous! I picked him out for a friend as a show prospect and she never got the opportunity to show him. I recently purchased him and am more certain than ever he can be a National Champion halter horse. He has also been driving. This colt has an awesome head and neck! He is a very kind horse as well and just wants to please everybody. Once I start showing him, the price will change so this is your opportunity to get a top show prospect at a reasonable price. Priced at $1200 or can be purchased with cart and harness.
ASPC Ponies:
(1) Cheg-Kim's Miss Mona Bee - ASPC registered four-year-old mare. Bay roan. This mare is such a neat little mare. She foaled me a gorgeous bay filly last year that will be very tiny! She is a granddaughter of Custom Maid's Peter Pan and has a lot of Hillswicke's breeding as well. I have not ultrasounded her yet, but will do so very soon. She was bred to B&L's Bar G's Rock "E" Hershey Bar, who is a Congress Winner sire. She will be priced at $2000 in foal or can be purchased for $1200 open.
(2) Star Struck's Hershey's Miss Congeniality - ASPC registered yearling filly. Bay with large star. She is by B&L's Bar G's Rock "E" Hershey Bar and out of Cheg-Kim's Miss Mona Bee (listed above). Don't let this little girl fool you, she may not have all the chrome that the Rock "E" horses are so famous for, but she is beautiful! Her head is the tiniest thing I have ever seen on a Shetland. Beautiful neck and she should mature very small. She is only about 33" as a yearling and that is with a ton of winter hair! She wants to be a show filly and due to lack of time, that is the only reason I am willing to sell her. She is National Futurity nominated. I just love this little girl. She is such an awesome little filly. Priced at $2000
(3) Star Struck's Mist E - ASPC registered yearling filly. Silver gray with star, snip, and 3 white socks. Mist E is by Van Lo's Sample's Overo Pride, a loud overo double registered stallion, and out of my best mare, B&L's Rock "E" Kan Kerri, an incredible strawberry roan sabino overo. This filly no doubt should carry the overo gene with being double-bred overo. She has a lot of action and a ton of attitude! She will make a nice show filly and an awesome broodmare. She is out of one of the most incredible mares I have ever seen! Priced at $1000
