Good start -- I'll go next -- then let's keep it going.
Andy and I met Trader-Price in St. Louis when they still played at Little Bit of Texas here. Gosh, it seems like forever that we've known them. I can't even remember how long ago it was we met them. Our friend, Russ Bono is also a performer and song writer. Russ had met the guys through Starstruck and had written some songs they liked and were playing. It was the first time Russ had heard others play his music and he asked a bunch of us to go to the club with him. He introduced us and we had instant respect for a bunch of super talented, extremely nice guys. They treated us like they'd known us forever. It was instant friendship with them. We again saw them the next time the came to Little Bit of Texas and took a bunch of our friends to see them as well. Unfortunately, that was the last time they came to St. Louis to play. We then went to The Flamingo in Kansas City to see them the following spring. From that time on we started following them in Dallas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. If any of you get a chance, ask them to again begin playing those "Russ Bono songs". They're great songs and they do a superb job with them. Who's next to tell us how they met the guys?
