Glad to see the new message board. After utilizing your help to draft and tweak the team...I had to scramble to get help on the early roster moves. I have made some good ones...and some stupid ones. But, I think I am alright. My pitching started off well, but now has bottomed out! Whereas my hitting started off slow, but has start to come around.

I am in a 10 team, FP, keeper. I am trying to rethink my strategy in my 10 team league. This is my first attempt at fantasy baseball, and we have a very competitive league. All owners are active in trading and WW pickups. So after 3 weeks, this is what I am seeing:
1. WW depth is always available at any position. Seems like a top player in points scored is available in any position except OF and SP.
2. You can find top players, having bad starts, show up on the WW at any time. I just picked up Mondesi last week off the WW. Jeff Weaver and Furcal are available this week.
3. It is harder to trade...as people would rather drop underperforming players and pickup the hot WW player, than make trades.

So, with this in mind, what is the best strategy in a 10 team league?

I have taken the position of NOT stocking backups at 2nd/3rd/ss and catcher. It seems someone is always available to snag in case of an injury.

I am always on the look for high draft picks that have been dropped to the WW, and will pick them up when I can, or patiently watch their progress.

I have started to acquire more bench SP's and RP's, as I believe as the season progresses, pitching will be more valuable.

Other opinions?
