My apologies...somehow I goofed near the end of the 'essence' post. Several Presidents have signed on the Panama Canal giveaway to China....without legal authority to do so. When was the last war in which the US was threatened??? WW II doesn't count, 'cause Churchill and FDR needed a reason to embroil the nation in another conflict and at the same time get us out of the '29 depression(remember?).

We who have lived thru the depression and several wars should have learned something. Take our education to the polls at election time and make a difference. It will be good for your conscience.
