It has been a while since the media have reported any school shootings I hope that means that they have "failed" to report. The coverage in grisly detail only provokes more shootings.

Before the forming of Federal schools, both parents and schools were allowed to spank errant children---called getting to the seat of the problem. The public caning/spanking of the spoiled American brat in Singapore did more to get his attention and maybe start some intelligent re-thinking or re-shaping is life than expecting his rich father to always get him out of trouble with the law.

Spanking has always been a very important tool in making/helping children to realize the consequence of previous actions/choices. Parents have failed in taking charge and becoming good role models. Too much freedom has been given the kids. The Feds support any policy that helps to take control away from the parents.
