Subject: Trail riding Author: Tara [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 22:50:26 06/07/01 Thu Brings Sunny out here.I decide to go on a trail I have never been on before.I go up hill then I canter.I go up a mountain then I gallop.I cross a wobbly bridge which attaches 2 mountains.It was scary.Sunny it would across so I have to dismount and lead her across.We got the the other side and we go down hill.We cross a fresh river then we stop and relax at a water fall.Sunny is enjoying herself.I adored to waterfall going down the mountain.10 mins later I mount and we go past the tanks and down a little hill.I then start to canter.Soon I was back and tacking up Ben. I bring Ben down here.We take a different trail to Sunny.We start by leaping a river and logs then cantering down flat ground.We turn lots of corners then we go up hill.we come up and notice a beautiful view of the city and other ranches.I then turn around and go right into the forest.We go down hill then up.Down again then we gallop along flat ground.We then notice something.I dismount and lead Ben over.It was a cave.We went in.It was dark but I shone my torch on I always carry around in my saddle bag.There was a door sort of thing.We go out of that and there was a arena and everything then I saw a sign.It said "This is an old house I used to live in when I was younger.I have now past away and my daughter has taken over.I hope my dear daughter is taking care.god bless" I then thought.the daughter must of wrote this.I then go into the arena surprising to see a young girl on a beautiful bay horse jumping.she had blonde hair but I couldn;t see her eyes.she was wearing blue jodphurs and black boots with a whitish silverish top.She noticed me and halted in front of me.She had brown eyes and no freckles.hello she said in a polite voice.Who r u and what are you doing here.I am tara I said and I found this cave and saw the sign.I wrote the sign she said.She introduced herself.I then noticed she had white hair not blonde.I am very old she said.Her name was carole and she was 80.I still love riding she said but I am very weak.We started a conversation.Maybe I should visit more often I said.Well i have to go now.She said goodbye.I then mounted Ben and left.
