The book started out with the nashia(the Native people) taking only what they need . Along come a pale white stranger (a white man)who carries all theese wonderful weapons pottery And other suplies so the nashia let him stay. soon the white men took over the land . Claimed it for themselves.Soon the water got pollutied by all the dumping of paper and other new inventions. Two natives had a dream tha their old chief came back and cried for his river . the two natives made protests wrote letters and petions . in the end the river was saved from pollution.

My favorite part was when they saved the river from pollution.
