So until that bitter sweet embrace with death, the witch would plague these lands for the remains of her sentence. And though many who had signed up for the torment life within these four walls (figuratively speaking) would bring, she would not fade away, into the abyss of 'nothing'. Nor would she waste time defying, or sucking up to, whoever would take charge of her, all that mattered was succeeding. Whether that be earning the position of matriarch, or being but a mere 'other', she did not care; though it would be nice to accomplish more than need be.-<
