I trust you are well and enjoying God's best blessings.
I just wanted to thank you for your great prayers as the Lord
allowed me to get the job at Trinity College. It could not be a
better all around ministry opportunity. Dr. Bill Lanpher,
President, and his son Dr. James Lanpher, the Academic Dean of
Trinity College are wonderful Christian and missionary alliance
people and the whole 22 person staff are committed people who I
really resonate with. The alliance has 17500 churches world wide
and 2500 in the usa. They give 67% of their money to foreign
missions. All of the staff and students are great group to work
for and with. It is a testimony to the greatness of God in
working through all things to bring about this great opportunity
for a greater chance to make a contribution to Christ and His
kingdom priorities. I am the chairman of the mission department
and also the director of their world missions center which
mobilizes churches for the great commission along with being a
full time professor. I could not have found a better situation
as I am teaching only missions courses. The college is merging
with Toccoa Falls college soon and the combined enrollment will
be around 1200. The Lord worked everything out as I will begin
my new ministry with them in August and I will be moving to
Tampa on July 20th. Please thank everyone for their prayers as
this is a fulfillment of God's promise, "Delight yourself in the
Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your
way to Him, trust also in Him and He will bring things to pass."
(Psa 37:3-5) I would appreciate your prayers for all the
elements involved with a successful transition in relationships,
personal matters, church involvement, church planting,
mobilizing churches for the great commission in the Tampa area
and ministry with students and staff at Trinity College.
