Before my husband John and I went to Africa, we
were asked by my daughter Michelle and her
husband David if we could stay for a week
with David's father Paul. Paul was on 24
hour oxygen and was diagnosed with congestive
heart failure. He also suffered from
diabetes and emphasema and various other
diseases.

The week that we stayed with Paul while
the (kids( were at the beach house enjoying
a time they desperately needed I led
Paul in the salvation prayer. Paul Weinberg
is a Jewish man...who never really practiced
his faith seriously. After he received
Jesus through prayer I put him on several
prayer chains and layed my hand on him
in prayer every night. However, Paul actually
seemed to be getting worse. He was on
much medication I believe I can say at least
15 pills daily. Michelle had to cut her
vacation a day short because Paul was
getting worse. Now, Michelle and I brought
Paul to the Doctor's (the doctor said Paul's
condition would probably get worse, at the
best he would stabalize for awhile.) The
hospital took him in for a work up and
was going to keep him there for awhile until
they could stabalize his condition.

I went to Africa to do missionary work with
my husband. We were gone for three weeks.

When I came home I asked the kids how Paul
was doing and they said great, he is coming
home tomorrow. I thought well that is good
but I hope that he can manage he was so sick
and it was hard for him to walk even five
feet or so.

We stopped over to the house and Paul was talking
with a nurse who was sitting at the table with
him and when he saw me he literally popped up
off of his chair, his color was pink and he
looked about 15 years younger. This gray
colored man on oxygen was now pink with color
and not on oxygen at all.(he had been on it
24 hours a day) It use to take him
about a half hour to get from his room out
to the car with two chairs stationed in
various places so he could sit and rest
to get strength to go further. Now he
walks gingerly upstairs, is driving,
not taking medication, he is the perfect
example of one of God's miracles. I don't
even think Paul yet realizes the extend
of his healing.....When we receive Jesus
the Christ we are a new man. All old things
have passed away. He has the blood of Jesus
running through his veins now, I am sure and
he does not even truly know what happened to
him. But we do, and my only prayer for Paul
now is that he will begin to be decipled
and taught who did this miracle and learn
all about Him. For on that cross on calvary
he not only took our sins away, he gave us
a brand new life and chance to live sin and
sickness free....for he took every disease
upon Himself that day, Jesus was hardly
recognizable and the sin-bearing Messiah
carried all of our sicknesses, every sickness,
malaria, cerebal palsy, leprosy, diabetes,
depression, every imaginable disease was draped
on our Jesus, that there was no beauty that we
should desire Him, He was despised and rejected
by men. (Isaiah 53) He took it ALL, we do not
need to carry it,it would be wrong to do so.
For His sacrifice was enough for you and me
to receive all the benefits of health and
salvation that day, Yes, it is His will to
heal if not why would He have taken it all
on Himself so that we would not have to.
His mission has always been to heal, and save.
He did it when He came to earth to teach us
the will of the Father for us, that is
healing in our mind, soul and body, His
death need not be in vain. Paul is now
well and it all happened after He gave his
life to Jesus......Good hands to put our
life into. He will never fail us. Praise
God for Paul's healing and I want everyone
who reads this to know that if you are
sick God can heal you too.
