While compiling this list, I completely ran out-of-space.

There's one Christmas song which definitely belongs on this list.

Once the header and footer were 'full', I had to remove one.
and, I decided it would be best to choose one near the end of the list.

The great Christmas song which should be included is We Need a Little Christmas.

If I was compiling a Top-100 list, I would have preferred removing one of the modern songs.
(Last Christmas, Wonderful Christmastime, Merry Christmas: War is Over, etc.).
BUT, I decided to follow consensus, and keep those 'modern' Christmas songs on the list.

So, as I've said before, I was forced to remove "We Need a little Christmas" from this top-100 list.

another song which possibly belongs on this top 100 list is
"I'm Getting Nothin' For Christmas".

The official title is 'Nuttin' For Christmas'.

------
It was tough to narrow this list down.

Of course, there are many great songs which aren't part of the top-100 all-time most popular christmas songs.
But, they're still just as good.

Dig That Crazy Santa Claus was a 1954 hit. Also made popular by the Brian Setzer orchestra in 2005.

I'd recommend viewing the Christmas Hits list from Wikipedia.

There was a 1953 song from Louis Armstrong, titled "Zat You, Santa Claus?", which arguably belongs on the Top-100 all-time list.

Mariah Carey's 1994 hit, "All I Want For Christmas is You" certainly belongs on the Top-100.

Also, there are plenty of great songs which appeared on Animated films.
These would be placed in that category rather than this page.

another Christmas carol which belongs on this Top-100 list is
"I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Heard_the_Bells_on_Christmas_Day

Poem written in 1863.
IT was set to Music in 1872.

Don't mistaken this with the modern version (from Casting Crowns), which is probably even better!
But, this Top-100 list doesn't necessarily feature the best 100.
Just the ones with lasting appeal.

There's yet a third version of "I Heard The Bells".
Please don't quote me, but the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sings the original version.
But, if you want to find the popular standard, just search for Burl Ives.
I'm NOT 100% positive, but this is the Johnny Marks version, put to music in the 1950's.
(Johnnny Marks of "Rudolph The Red nosed Reindeer" fame.)

And, as I've stated before; there are hundreds of songs which belong on the Top-100 list.

"Shake Up Christmas" by the singing group "Train" is certainly good enough.

"Christmas Lights" from Coldplay is certainly a Top-100.

The 1989 Soul version of "All I want for Christmas is You", from Vince Vance & The Valiants.
