Subject: So why not a sequel to City Slickers II?

Well if there's any place to get some favorable feedback on a third instalment of City Slickers I guess this would be the place. Most people here, and I guess most people in Hollywood, probably can't think up a simple plot around which to weave another sequel. Billy's not only rich, but has strengthened his friendship with his best friend and his brother (jon incidentally was a great improvement over that annoying character from the first movie). What else could they possibly want in another movie?

Here's a simple plot outline: Billy and family (including Jon and Jack) have a western vacation. Vegas probably. While there some unscrupulous types learn that this millionaire is in town and decide to get rich quick by kidnapping his daughter. They hole up in a ghost town and warn Billy not to tell the cops or its Boot Hill for his kid. But they aren't sure if they'll kill her anyway even if they do give the crooks the money. They decide to go after the bad guys themselves, leading to an old fashioned western style shootout in the ghost town. Everyone's a hero and we have a complete trilogy.

I could pad this out but I'm not a writer. Trouble is I have never heard of any movie ever being done based on an outline submitted through a message board. Well if there's anybody here who could pass this simple idea on to the film makers involved we'd all appreciate it. And should somebody take this idea and flesh it out, don't worry I won't sue you. I'm a proud Canadian, and sueing anybody who'd make good use of this suggestion is as likely as my eating a cow pie.
