Good Luck on Your Search
Did you see the story of the Mauricio Escalera in Babylon Ny. I would imagine thats a place to start.

Little Valery Lozada, the 4-year-old abandoned on a Queens street after her
mother's murder, is thriving in her new life on Long Island, relatives said
yesterday.
"She's doing great," said her cousin Mauricio Escalera, smiling
broadly at the very mention of Valery's name.

Escalera and his wife,
Renee Escalera, of West Babylon, have been taking care of the adorable tot since
winning city Administration for Children's Services approval last month.

Yesterday, Escalera was in Queens Family Court meeting with lawyers for
ACS, the Little Flower Children's Service Center in Jamaica, which is monitoring
the girl's progress, Valery's law guardian and a law secretary for Queens Family
Court Judge Marybeth Richroath.

"It was just a conference, nothing
happened," Escalera said afterward.

Valery was found in Middle Village
on Sept. 25, a day after her mother, Monica Lozada Rivadineira, 26, was killed,
allegedly at the hands of her live-in boyfriend, Cesar Ascarrunz, 33. He is
being held without bail on murder, child abandonment and other charges.

Valery's permanent home has yet to be decided.
