I hope i'm doing this right (posting it, i mean)

But since people in America are so afraid of communism, if say it did somehow become our system, do you think the citizens would keep it in line? in other words, do you think it would work in america?

I think that if anyone noticed any change in the political system towards communism they would rally and riot and there would be a whole big mess, because, like you said, people in America ARE so afraid of it. Many people would rather be so stinking rich than to help the poor anyway. Of course, with communism, there probably wouldn't be marriage for money any more. And yes you are posting fine. Communism (and socialism) require the goverment to have almost COMPLETE control over your lives. Imagine that. And just think: Under Communism and socialism, work doesn't mean anything. A farmer who works hard for his family so that they can have bread on the table at night will get JUST as much as a lazy bum who refuses to work at all. That sounds good on paper? And how come I never hear people talking about OUR system of capitalism and this republic (not a democracy) we live in. It looks great on paper, and it works even better! Actually our system has it's faults aswell. Just saying. I mean the government DOES have complete control over us. And oil companies control the government. It's big buisiness.
