Raising his eyebrows mildly, L’van looked at the two fire-lizards with some consternation. What was with her? What had he done except ask her for an egg and offer some food? All flits hated loosing their eggs, so he had merely offered to ease the parting blow.
“Come on, Milady. What did I do wrong?”
