The pair of them stride down the moonlit beach. There isn't a cloud in the sky.. the sea is wrought with starsilver. Harilath bounds on ahead, light from the crescent moon glinting whitely upon his green-yellow-blue hide. M'telle laughs quietly, before jogging quickly after his lifemate.

A squawk from his dragon and a powerful mental shove sends him reeling, however. He lands heavy on the warm sand, sitting sharply up with wide eyes. The hatchling glares at him for a moment, crouching catlike over some small.. somethings. /Look! You almost stepped on them/

/What are they?/

/Er.. I don't know../

The young man crawls over, prodding at one of them. It rustles a bit. Realisation dawns swiftly after that.. /Firelizard eggs../

/Oh! I think I know what those are. They look like us, but they're small and annoying!/

/Not annoying! My dad and mom each had one! Hers flew his and I remember giving away the eggs to people. Wow.. now I can just.. take one?/

/That seems to be the idea./

M'telle hesitates before lifting the smallest egg into his hands. He strokes its smooth shell before looking around. /I suppose so, yeah./ A smile spreads over his face as he pours warm beachsand into one of his belt pouches and tucks the egg inside. /Why not? I've always wanted one. They're so.. cute!/ The young man giggles and sweeps blonde hair from his eyes, before rising and dusting himself off.

/Let's get to the feast, M'telle, I want to meet more dragons!/

/Alright, my love./

Together, and laughing, they continue on down the beach.
