There are a few noteworthy comments regarding the playlist links.
FIRST.
The Animated Christmas Playlist (1927-1999) is listed in Chronological order.
(not necessarily according to the date when the cartoon was made).
But, the first batch of cartoons appear near the top-of-the list.
In other words, the very earliest additions gain precedence.
while, the latest additions are buried near the end.
There is a valid reason for choosing the 'Date added (oldest).
This playlist has remained somewhat consistent since BEFORE youtube was even created.
Basically, we were gathering old cartoons and trying to figure out a definitive number.
This is how we discovered rarities such as Heckle and Jeckle's New Year, Popeye's 3 Christmas specials 1933 until 1955. Casper's original Christmas, 8 Disney Christmas, etc.
Yea....this all seems obvious today. BUT, prior to Wikipedia, it wasn't easy figuring this out.
The original playlist was actually organized, rather than random.
and, when the SantaClaus60 account got suspended (for no reason), the EXACT playlist appeared on another channel.
WE actually arranged this on paper, before creating the playlist. (wow).
------------------------
Meanwhile, all other playlists are listed in reverse order.
DATE ADDED: (NEWEST) is generally the preferred method.
New additions appear at the top-of-list. While older stuff is down near the bottom.
Of course, this is the preferred method by most users.
It's especially useful since the newbies appear first.
playlists aren't usually organized carefully. Thus, there's no need to emphasize older uploads.
The only exception is the Animated Christmas (1927-1999) collection.
-----
so.....
The Movies playlist has new additions appearing near the top.
and, the same is true for the Music Albums list.
-----
The Myspace List is another original project of ours.
Many of these lists are from our affiliates.
However, there are exceptions.
(example: we are fans of the Google Video collection. But, it's not our creation.)
Ironically, many uploads throughout the internet were originally uploaded by Mrs Claus.
She always preferred uploading beta versions in order to avoid copyright issues.
-----------------------------------
FINAL NOTE: This week, I've purchased 9 Music Christmas CD's, and 3 Movies.
Don't forget to support your local stores along with the Music & film industry.
They deserve your business !!!!!
