you had made a comment stating that many video links once had 100,000 views. then it suddenly dropped to only 100. and it stayed there. ....and never rose.

I blame that on the Hosts such as Youtube, and dailymotion.

IF they think for a minute that you've tried to manipulate the viewcount, they'll punish you for it by dropping your viewcount and stunting all future growth.

and, you've stated yourself that some of these videos are so great, you've watched them a few times.
WELL, THAT'S IT. That's the reason why the host is punishing you. They sense that you've clicked the same video more than twice. And even though you've watched them honestly, they're still gonna break you down.
Is that dumb, or what?

BUT here's the problem. Youtube and those other video sites never scrutinize the popular channels.
So, for example, anyone with high subscriptions & view-counts will be left alone. So, their view-count will never be dropped down.

Then SUDDENLY, the viewcounts began to disappear. I probably shouldn't make a big deal of it. lol. But, at the time, it was very depressing. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
