Subject: A forewarning of silence to come....

In anywhere from around New Year's to in a few weeks, I'll be getting a new puppy. This is something for me, since the two dogs we've had were never raised by me. Dude is really Mom's dog, she brought him home at 4 months since his owners abandoned him at the vet after he had parvo and broke his leg. Cricket will be 13 when I'm 16, and she's half-deaf, half-blind, going bald, and just old. She was a puppy when I was 3, so I never got to do much in the way of raising. More like she raised me. *G* So, for a Christmas/Birthday present ((my b-day is 1-15)), my parents are getting me a purebred Shih Tzu puppy. The breed could change, although we've reserved this one, and... well, let's just say we're not having much luck finding these dogs we're looking for. I'm not allowed to get a big dog (otherwise... mwahaha) so I'm content with a little fluffy thing that'll sleep on my lap and that'll only be as big as my cat. Okay, so I'm babbling. Point is, when I get this pup, my activity on all my sites is going waaaaay down. I'll be online for a half hour every day, tops. Weekends will be little better, until I get the pup (which I've already nicknamed Ketchup - don't ask) potty-trained, and can actually have her (no males allowed) in my room (yes, the compy is in my room). Until then, she'll live upstairs, in the non-carpeted, cat-ruled playroom. I'll be with her as much as I can be, naturally. So... yeah. I'll let you all know when I get her, so you can expect me to be a lot quieter- err.... slower to reply on the RPGs. I'm never quiet for long. ;)
