Well, I see it like this. Sure she left and all, but that doesn't give you the right to take the character, claim it as your own and do whatever disgraceful, desecrating things to the character as you please. In an act of civility, (which you surely must lack) you would have the decency to [emphasis]AT LEAST
[/emphasis] ask her about the character and get some inside information about the character and assuming some blatantly wrong things about it. Now I'm not taking sides, I don't even know this person, but from what I have seen, she has a point. And writers(which she sounds like) need their work to work with, and nothing more. It should NOT be put into the hands of uncaring, irresponsible, myopic strangers as you present yourself to be. I hope you have a nice day, and a nice life. Thank you.
