Subject: Half-Circle Hold

This is a request to be lady holder of Half-Circle Hold. RP sample will come soon. Please consider it. The information for the Half-Circle hold was from where it was located in the map in Dragonsdawn so most of it was made up from wha tI know of the location in general, holds in general and common sense.

The Lady Holder and Family
Name: Lady Rytha

Description: She’s 5'5" tall. She has thick hair that is kept to mid back length. She has dark brown hair and light brown eyes. In clothing she usually wears a simple dress. She is rarely seen without a simple necklace that was given to her by her mother or one of her vests. Her vests are sleeveless and have reinforced shoulders for the fire lizards to rest upon; there is also a largish pocket on the vest where the gold likes to rest. She was the only child of the former holder of Half-Circle. She has given her children many responsibilities in the hold because she believes that it will help them in their future and because she trusts them. She is also trust worth and trusts people more than others.

Holding
Holds are similar to a rural town. They consist of many ‘holders’ that are like the family farms. The Lord Holder or Lady Holder over see and make sure all is in order and working correctly. Holds send supplies and such (tithes) to the weyrs in return from the protection the dragon riders provide from Thread.

Half-Circle Hold
Half-Circle Hold is a minor hold by an unnamed bay by the southern sea. Like all holds it is located in the cliffs. As it is near the bay, the cliffs overlook the shores of the beach. Like most holds the Drum Heights are high enough for the sound to carry farther. There is also the fire heights, which is also used to send messages or keep watch. They are tied to Benden Weyr.

Feeling to Dragon Riders
Overall the hold shows dragon riders great hospitality. The Lady Holder supports them greatly and in tithes there is usually more than that is required, depending on the stores of the hold.
