Subject: Overwhelmed

She looks across the enourmous plain, gray-olive eyes wide with a mixture of bewilderment and fatigue. "It is going to take a long time to get anywhere." She mutters to herself. "And standing here isn't going to get me there any faster. She rebraids her unruly brown hair and sets off to the north, stridingly gracefully along with obvious determination. She thinks over what she has seen and read in the last few hours, and shakes her head in disbelief. How could it all be possible? How exactly did she get here? She must be dreaming. What kind of species would she like to be, if this isn't a dream? It seemed awfully real to be a dream......Her busy mind continued it's lightning-quick chain of questions and observations as she continued to stride to the noth.
