Subject: Relaxing...

A green Kilven trots in, a large purple Vae flying above. The Kilven slows to a walk, then eventually stops, dropping to her belly on the thick, lush grass. Her rider hops off and seats herself in the golden grass, and the Vae curls up for a nap between the Kilven's forepaws.

"It is a beautiful day, isn't it, Renae?"

The green nods, her eyes drifting closed with content. I think I could spend the rest of my life right here, she says. Lexa laughs.

"What about food? And what if it rains? And what about--" She stops mid-sentence, realizing there is no Thread in Etreus. She stays silent, her thoughts moving from the day here to the days on Pern -- both good and bad. Renae sends her thoughts of dissent.

"I know it does no good, but I can't help it," Lexa grumbles in return.

Just try to relax, Renae suggests. Lexa nods and lays down on her back, looking up at the sky.
