He sits down at a corner table after ordering a drink - non alcoholic, although he would have preferred other at this stage - and looks around absently while sipping it. It had not been too long since arriving here, but he had seemed to have lost track of everyone he knew. Lys...Litisha...even the Masterharper had somehow disappeared. He would not have admitted it to anyone but Marenor, but he was feeling very lonely.
I'm still here. Marenor piped up helpfully. A brief smile touched J'red's face. "I know, Marenor, and I'm glad. I don't know what I'd do without you."
J'red returned to staring at his drink, lost in thought and reflection.
