*+*The girl walked in, her feet burning on the Sand in the mid-day heat. She didn't care too much at all, the white flowing Impression robes did what they could to keep the candidates cool. She took a pot near the wall and sat watching, muttering to herself, but seemingly talking to a wall*+*

"I can't believe I'm here, from Ruatha to here was such a long journey. The dragons are beautiful, like I saw in the sky, but I am so nervous, I can't help it. I don't want to let father down you know."

*+*She kept her eyes downcast beneath her short, ebony hair. She was a sport, both her parents had red hair and brown eyes, but she came off with black hair, dark skin, and light green colored eyes. Most thought she was adopted, except her, her parents, and her nurse. Her father encouraged her to follow her path before he had died in a fire, and her mother had died shortly after of grief, leaving her alone, with only a small necklace, an amethyst embedded in the silver, as a small memory. She clasped it in her hands and thought of her father.*+*

*+*The girl sat for many seconds before holding her head high and standing, still against the wall. She replaced her necklace to its usual place around her neck, and took in her surroundings. The Sands were bright and alive with excitement as adolescent after adolescent impressed the dragons. Images of her Impressing the beautiful Queen Gold dragonet flashed through her mind, and she willingly let her mind wander around those fntasies. She vaguely realized that some stared at her with strange looks, but she no longer cared. She was there!*+*

*+*She strode gracefully out into the center, glancing at the great golden Queen that sat, staring down anyone that hppened to get to near to her eggs. The girl swallowed her fears and stepped near, closer than most of the candidates, unto the Queen. She hesitated momentarily, then performed a graceful bow toward the Queen and smiled. She moved closer thn all of the candidates had dared to go, matching the Gold's stare. She stood and waited patiently for her try at Impressing*+*

~Her stare was one of awe, the green had actually chosen her!~ Aryna?? Can we eat now? Please? ~She realigned her thoughts quickly.~ [Sure Jouath, let's go] ~The pair walke off the Sands as the queen Impressed. And you know what? Aryna didn't too much care. She had her lifemate, and she was happy~
