The boy walks in, his firelizards hanging off of him. He gets himself a bowl of stew and a cup of klah, and grabs some meatrolls for the 'lizards. Alternately sipping klah, gulping down stew, and stuffing pieces of meatroll into the creeling 'lizards' mouths, he feeds himself and his charges in a matter of minutes.

His dragon's voice echoes in the back of his mind. ~R'ven, I'm done eating. How about you?~

-The 'lizards and I are fed. How much did you eat?-

~Three herdbeasts.~

-Three? You were hungry! Sorry for taking so long before letting you eat.- R'ven is suddenly consumed with guilt for his neglect.

~It's fine. Here, you can make it up to me. I'm a mess; meet me in the Perches, and I need to be cleaned and oiled.~

-I'm on my way.- Leaping up from the table, he pauses long enough to slip his dishes into a pan of dishwater, then races away.
