Slowly, Alara enters. She leans on the buffet table before collecting her food. *Red meat...* Aghath reminds her.

Alara makes a face, but stabs a slice of the stuff and drops it on her plate. She also takes a large mug of red fruit juice, intending to use it to wash away the taste of the meat. She walks to the nearest table and plops onto it gratefully. She notices a few other people around- S'sha and T'ren, most notably. There seems to be something going on, though Faranth only knows what! "Best to stay far away from it..." she mutters. Then, on a second glance, she notices a second man, one who looks suspiciously familiar to the former Weyrleader K'u. "Best stay out of it," she repeats for her own sake.
