Her lovely green flit suddenly awakens on her shoulder and creels hungrily. She feeds it, watching Kayet run off. "She'll Impress. So will we," she murmurs in a low tone to her brother. She strokes her head as she thinks.

Rinos nods, feeding his brown Tizz some scraps as well. "Don't wait for the gold. Too much competition, you know? And anyway," he continues, a sly look in his friendly eyes, "Greens fly more often and nearly as long, and they don't have the annoying pregnancy and responsibilities..."

Chare nods. "You're right, of course." She smiles, the expression dangerous to those who knew her well enough. "Let's go then. Let her have first appearance and hopefully a good one." With further ado, she rises and strides off towards the hatching grounds.

Rinos watches his sister with bland eyes. She was crafty and sensual and dangerous and greedy, but she was his sister, after all. With a resigned sigh -and a grin for the possibility of Impressing- he too leaves.
