~The pair rocket into the sky after the freezing cold of between. Palirth lands easily. Her rider slips off her dragon, unbuckles the harness, and lets Palirth settle into a curled-up position. Within moments, the green is asleep. "You did wonderfully, my love," Eve murmurs to her dragon affectionately. "And now, I need numbweed," she adds thoughtfully, looking at the ragged, shredded back of her hand. The pain was distant, like it was happening far away and to someone else, but the tendons were shriveled and torn, and the knuckle bones shone whitely through gore. The greenrider nods and moves towards the Weyr, intent on healing herself. Her beautiful green had taken no scores, a fact which relieved Evelene to no end. Only after taking four strides does the rider simply crumple to the ground, unconscious. A gold flit flips into the area, shrieking as she sees her master wounded.~
