Holding up both hands to stop the flow of eager questions, he grins. "It'll start soon enough, I expect." One eyebrow quirks up. "Easy on you? D'tir would have my hide if I were nice," he grins, wondering idly if that was a true statement or not. "There'll be time, but see to your dragon first," T'yin adds, nodding at the stain. ~This ought to be interesting,~ he silently comments to Viouth, who deigns not to reply. Feeding Daer one last piece of meat, he sets the bronze on his shoulder, and winces as the flit digs his talons in tightly. "Forgot that flit owners need padding," he mutters as the rapidly-growing pet wraps his tail around T'yin's neck. "Ow," he winces, glancing at Daer's talons embedded in wherhide and skin.

I don't want to help train. At all. Viouth sounds griping, but doesn't appear too upset. And if one of these weyrlings runs into me I'll- she cuts off at a laugh from her rider, and settles for scowling at him. The expression isn't as fierce as it should be; her eyes are tinted a beautiful hazel blue, which gives her an air of kindness. Hmmph.
