The Neolithic Revolution

The Neolithic Revolution was that of the domestication of plants and animals. Its effects were that they learned the techniques of farming, agriculture, and the extensive growth of things. For farming it was discovered perhaps accidentally, scientists believe so anyway. Scientists figure that for the growth of food that comes from seeds, that one day a women was coming in from a field with a bag of seeds of some sort and perhaps dropped some coming into the camp. Looking out a few days later perhaps she saw a few black spots on the ground and then a few months later a few sprigs of something, this was then the beginning of growing food. Pigs, cows, goats, dogs and sheep were also another major input on the Neolithic Revolution. Pigs, cows and goats were used for the meat, cows were also used for the milk. Sheep were used for the wool and dogs were trained and used as help and as pets. Also learning these techniques cut down on moving. Since they now could grow their food they could stay in one place for longer periods of time. They didn’t have to hunt as much, so therefore they didn’t have to keep following the herd and therefore could establish a village or community. As you can seethe Neolithic Revolution was that of the domestication of plants and animals. Its effects were that they learned the techniques of farming, agriculture, and the extensive growth of very important things.
