The greenrider is surprised that the Candidate he brought--one of only a small handful for all his years at attending Hatchings--did not Impress. He watches her leave, pale eyes sad for her, and he draws himself up to salute at her retreating white-clad back. "I'm sorry, Sanna," he murmurs, turning towards the empty Hatching Grounds. It's always an unnerving sight once the ceremony is complete, looking abandoned and eerily still after a flurry of so much action and intense emotions. There are one or two people still here, other than himself--a Candidate over there, crying, and a drudge over there, shoveling away the blood-stained patch of sands, and a man in dragonrider clothing a few dragon-lengths away.

Pale green eyes widen. A very familiar man.

T'yin is running, slipping, and finally colliding with the other dragonrider full-force, his lean arms wrapping around the other man's shoulders as they both crash to the sands. A distant bugle rings through his skull as his lifemate awakens, the wave of joy and disbelief crashing through their mental bond like a tsunami, and he feels Viouth lift off in search of Peth as T'yin buries his face into J'neli's chest. He doesn't speak--doesn't need to, and couldn't anyways, tears streaking down his face and strong arms never lessening their grip as though he feared J'neli would disappear if he let go.
