Synthis seemed to flinch a bit at the word father, but seemed to listen to the rest. It was just hard. After taking the last turn trying to forget, it seemed odd that now the memories flushed back as though they were actually happening again.

She looked a bit shocked at his question, as though she didn't quite know what he meant. [Well,] she said, thinking and signing in her usual fasion. [It really... depends on what you mean... by hurt.]

Memories of all sorts of things flooded back to her. All the pain. Everything that had hurt. Her father and his beatings. The different things he'd force her to do. Her first flit. Her best friend...

Even Xiua couldn't make sense of it.

She looked hard at Ashertith, and asked, {Does M'att want to se eher thoughts on this subject? They all flash quickly, and they're hard to understand, but...?}

((Well, Synthis CAN'T TALK! That is somethign we planned to make everything go up in flames with. She CAN'T answer, so there's so much that could happen! K'mir could pretende she said yes, they could get into a fight on what she really meant... all that good stuff. ^_^
