The brown thought hard – he was only a hatchling, after all! Some things are too hard for a dragon who has only just emerged from his egg! What could they do? Now Synthis was crying again, and M’att was getting so upset! His distress in turn affected Ashertith, who looked at Xiua with a hopeless expression (or as hopeless and expression as one can have with no moveable facial features).

This is the only thing I can think of: Wait. We take our riders to their weyrs, and then let them sleep on this. And then see how they feel tomorrow.

M’att certainly needed a rest from all these emotions! The brown hatchling looked at his green friend – it all depended on whether or not she had a better answer.

Well…it all depends. I guess you know that we’re gonna have a paternity question in Maria’s pregnancy, but it will be S’peer’s. So we could have two of his offspring running around, or we could have one of each…hm. I didn’t think S’peer would cause this much trouble! But he loves all the attention. *Pets S’peer*
I say the second one, but may I suggest something?
If S’non wanted to stay with Maria after the flight, and Sitara thought he was ditching her after their relationship (she doesn’t know she’s up the duff yet, of course), then maybe a one-night-stand with S’peer is in order (he’s that kinda guy - or maybe they could both get so drunk they have no idea of what they’re doing?), and then we have yet another question – who is the baby’s father?
And if we still want flight, we could have C’lath! Still more complication!
I should have given Garth to S’peer – they’re very like-minded!
I can be evil too!))
