Like a humanoid river, the woman known as Kain flows swiftly toward her bondmate, whisking through the night like a black ghost. Arms extend, the chainmail and bracers clinking dully in her haste. Cloak whipping behind her fleeting form, the rider is one with the darkness, as her Impressed is. Raideth's head moves to intercept the lithe lady, an angular nose nudging ever-so-swiftly across her shoulders. It portrays the deepest show of compassion shared by only these two. The woman known as Kain strides in to where Ginny awaits, her rumbling, grating, saddened voice permeating the still air.
'Therre is a double frracturre in the forrearrm.'
A cold eye of distant smoke looks up to the Queen, and Raideth proferrs her arm, resting it gingerly before the Weyrwoman. When her own words pool over Areyeth's mental plane, there is the tiniest taste of humour in them.
I have not much choicce, do I?
