There was a moment of silence upon the land of Silver Ridge. A black form was seen ambling through the distant lands, his head low, tail dragging quietly through the fine layer of snow that coated the land.

He hadn't been here in ages, but his heart had lead him back. He stared half hearted upon the lands of his former pack, the scents all but gone. His mind had forgotten so much, yet he remembered the names of his former pack lands.

Drawing back his black head, he let out a howl, a howl that would only trigger the stirring a few animals. Yet its meaning held the memory of all the things he used to love on his former lands. When his hown finally died in his throat, he gave the land one last glance. Then he turned away, and trotted slowly. The memories of Silver ridge still playing through his mind...
