According to my friend's dad who knows about this stuff, if I am watching them at the specific request of their mom, even if she isn't paying me anything, I am "In Loco Parentis" which means that I am basically acting as a parent for those few hours and I can spank them the same as their parents can.

And as long as it is "reasonable discipline" which believe me, it is, because he says you can actually give pretty long and painful spankings and it is still considered reasonable discipline, then nobody can get in trouble for it. Even the stuff their dad does to them is considered reasonable discipline.

It's not like I can take away their dolls or teddy bears for a week or whatever kind of advanced parenting punishment you want me to use. Besides, the girls are fine with being spanked and are back to normal in fifteen minutes.
