She thought, the only sound heard in the trees was the birds and the distant sound of the pups. She lifted her head and looked at MoonStream.
"Because my whole life has been nothing but dissapointment."
She shifted, and sat down with a sigh.
"I had a wonderful life at one point. I had a mate, an active pack, and the most wonderful four pups in the world. Then, one day, it all went south. My pups died and my mate told me he was leaving. Then the pack went inactive, and my second mate is inactive as well."
She looked away into the trees.
"Nothing is the way I wanted it, and nothing is ever going to be."
