It's my son who gets put back into nappies and baby knickers. He's 14. His behaviour had been going downhill for some time when I happened upon an article describing this type of punishment. I must admit I was highly sceptical at first - it seemed rather weird and not just a little cruel. It was another few months before I reached my wits' end and felt I had nothing to lose by trying it. So the next time he got into trouble at school I told him that he'd be undergoing nappy punishment. It took all my strength of will that first time to strip him off and start to spank his bottom. But although he struggled for a while, he eventually gave in and I spanked him for a good few minutes. By the time I'd finished he was quite contrite, and although he begged me not to do it, he meekly lay on my bed as I pinned him tightly into a big terry nappy. The tears started to flow as I threaded his feet through the baby knickers I'd bought him, but I was quite determined, and tugged them up into place over his nappy. I made him spend the rest of the evening in just his nappy, baby knickers and a white t shirt. I've had to repeat his punishment many times since then. He seems to go in phases where even the threat of nappies is enough to make him behave. But then he starts to play up again, and back into nappies he goes.
