Sounds like your Momma lit you up good. I consider myself fortunate that I never got a belt whoopin' growing up. I knew a lot of kids that did including my husband. I'm glad my parents didn't do it. There were a couple of times Daddy threatened to take a belt to us, but I think it was more a bluff. Besides the spankings he gave by hand, hurt plenty so I couldn't begin to imagine how much it would have hurt if he used a belt on our bare little butts.

I got one question. If your Momma never spanked you with a switch as a kid, Why did you think she would start when she planted that willow in your teens?
