¬as soon as the "vampire"'s pungent mouth aromas slammed home in his nostrils, the stallion backed off quite rapidly, almost spooked when she disappeared before his eyes. nevertheless, he was intrigued, he was hooked, he had to find out what this stranger was. she didn't seem like the other two, yet, she most certainly wasn't equine. her voice rung in his ears like a person's fingernails when scratching a chalkboard. oh, it sent violent tremors down his spine. but who was she to butt in and take over? he was Mr. #1 here and he didn't like how she asked him questions with obvious answers. of course he was looking for food, what else? sporting a quick glance all around, he saw the creature by the children. alas, she hadn't even waited for an obvious response. how rude. mrrr....he'd dwell on this for quite some time, but nevertheless, she had to have at least one good thing about her, didn't she? perhaps she had soft shoulders like pillows...oooh! he'd never had a pillow before. in any case, however, Sham was blocking his path to the magical stranger so he supposed he'd just have to wait his turn¬
