*Watching as the Magyar finally came within view, he smiled* �I am not sure how old I am to be honest, after so long alone these things tend to loose meaning. But to answer your query I am nearing seven or eight winters�or there abouts�.

*Having given enough time for the Magyar to catch his breath he rose to his paws and continued* �I don�t know if guardian is right, I am here because I am here. If I could have gone with the others I would have. But lord Frith bid that I remain here, so as all those around me faded into obscurity I stayed behind, eagerly awaiting; hoping they would one day return�

*Looking around to see if the Magyar was okay he continued* �This forest of shadow is my first and only territory. Although I have been in a number of packs, all of which no longer exist. One day I may journey forth to another land, but for now I am content to run through these mists�

*Pausing momentarily to gather his bearing he padded onward* �Not too far now, a place where we can talk and howl. A place where we can bare witness to the truths I shall bestow upon you, wolf of the Magyar�
