Subject: New Smoke City Public Database - December 2024 RELEASED!

Turns out I wasn't as done as I thought.

But I slogged through the afternoon heat and got it done.

All 140 volumes and the stories within are listed.

I did notice I'd accidentally duplicated one story in two different volumes, I apologize for that.

I also haven't created the Mass Drop archive for Volumes 131 to 140 yet, I'll do it in the next couple of days.

So…

We ended up hitting Volume 140. I was unsure if we'd get there this year, but we did, thanks to the uptick in new fiction toward the end of the year. Thanks most of all to those who contributed. YOU did it. Thank you.

Now, Volume 141. It still has four empty slots, and the odds are good it will fill on time. There might even be overflow, if so, it'll go into 142.

Starting next year, as I've said, I'll be adding dates to the table of contents for new fictions so you'll know when they were written, as I won't be able to maintain monthly releases past January or February. I guess I could get back into writing, I'm still working on my epic smoky space opera, it'll be the size of a phonebook, I'm not sure if I'll ever publish, nobody wants to read a phonebook.

Oh, if you look at the database, you'll see that we are less than 100 stories away from hitting the 2000 story mark. Hope we get there. I'm garbage at predictions, so I'll only say we'll get there some time in 2025 or 2026.

So, 2025, is there anything you want me to do or do differently? Now is the time to ask. What do you want me to do, what do you want to see? I'd like to keep growing the library, it's up to you how it happens. I'll do the work.

I know I've said it before, but we've built something great, something that may well outlast us. Lets keep it great.
