We never really notice a difference between male and female. We notice that for some reason dd does better with overseas AD's than she sometimes does with local. Is there a different style, or something different about overseas dancers that dd somehow has? who knows. The other thing is that we tried a brown wig (closer to her natural color, no need for blonde spray!) for about 6 months and her scores went way down, we quickly went back to blonde and up they went again. -- The New Irish Dance Message Board

Opposite for us. Went back to natural brown and placing better than ever. Thought maybe just improved that much, but temporarily tried the blonde again recently, and placements dropped.
