Until someone proves they know how to teach the golf swing, opinions is all we have. The weight of your opinion however is going to depend on your background and experience.
John has a degree in philosophy, is a single digit golfer and in his 40 years of golfing experience, he has taken lessons with many of the top teachers in America. I would say that his opinion carries some weight, wouldn't you?
My "proof" is there for all to see. Some of my endorsements are quite unbelievable. Please read them at my instructional site which can be accessed thru golfisking.com
The teachers you mention are conventional teachers. To recognize me is to greatly compromise what they are teaching. Yet Hebron had the guts to do exactly that when he recognized me on page 44 of his newest most revolutionary work. Don't you think that its odd that I was included and not a book like Golf in the Kingdom ( current acknowledged cult book) or the Legend of Bagger VAnce. According to Hebron, my book must be at least on a level with those.
My book will be around for a long, long, time. The reason for that is that the central metaphor of golfers on a merry go round will be true as long as there are golfers.
Even single axis players ride the merry go round.
