Subject: SA golf swing w/o hip rotation anyone?

After using NG I change to a HSS grip to get more distance and find that all my shots are straight as long as I keep my hips and chest pointed to impact area. In order to swing I do a lateral side bending of my spine on backswing and initiate my downswing by sliding my hips toward the target ending up with an opposite (from back swing setup) side bend of my spine. I initially thought that my shoulders do not rotate, but was in error after studying the motion. Would like to know if my swing is made up to cover up other faults. Is anyone in single digit index using this type of swing?
