For those who were questioning Divine Words status as a university, the website has kindly helped answer the question by referring to the NEC decision that conferred its "university" status on 21st August 1996 -National Executive Council Decision No: 134/96.

Tony, that is simply not true and as a lawyer, I would assume you know better.

The NEC does not have the power to confer "University" status, and does not so claim in that NEC decision, 134/96.

All Universities in PNG have an Act of Parliament. Divine Word has no such Act, unless it has been a "University" since 1980 and forgot to tell anyone.

I call this The Big Lie. What do you call it Tony? Is this another Proud Peter Barter Pronouncement? Isn't everyone tired of all the lies? As I have said before, Divine Word and the SVD have managed to take corruption into 1. Education, 2. Religion, and 3. Journalism.

p.s. This gets better as only Proud Peter Barter and Divine Word can manage. That NEC says that Divine Word is not to get any government funds. Then Father Jan Czuba SVD told the world that he was promised K1,000,000. The Honorable Bill Skate government paid over K500,000 on that
promise of the prior government that did not exist. How much of that actually got to Divine Word? How much went for BRIBES, BABIES AND BLACKMAIL?

Help us out here Tony. This is your "baby", as it were. You have been running this story yourself (On behalf of Proud Peter Barter?) for almost a year.

More problems. The Divine Word site also claims a 1999 Act of Parliament in the "Governance"
Section. Recall Tony this is the one that you ran up here last Spring. The little "Name Change" and
"Enlarge the Board" Act. Divine Word claims that they have it. I can't find that it ever passed in 1999. Is this yet another lie Tony? Help us out here Tony. If it passed, what does it say? I say it does not even exist. That it is all a lie.

Tony, I think you owe more to the people that read this Board than to come up here and spread confusion, if not outright lies. Why don't you get those items and post them, either right here, or on your very own Forum over on www.voy.com?

Then of course we still have the sex and blackmail involving Father Jan Czuba SVD to straighten out. But I say the whole thing is a lie.
