Subject: Observing people's needs

I was a passenger in my friend's car yesterday when we found that the SatNav had led us into an almighty traffic jam. It was directing us in the right direction, but just didn't know that there was a 2-hour hold-up because of a big accident a couple of hours ago. And no way of turning around and finding another route. We were trapped!

Very sad for the people in the accident - I heard on the radio that one of them died - but couldn't new SatNavs be designed so that traffic info is relayed to them? I'm not a technical genius, but I would think it's just a matter of the SatNav company sending out info to each SatNav so that it can re-adjust the route. Just needs wi-fi.

It would save this country - and the whole world - millions of lost appointments, work house, delays, etc. I'm getting my boyfriend working on it tonight!

Thanks for your brilliant creative thinking blog, John. I'm telling all my friends about it.

.
